BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment is an assessment method and certification scheme for domestic buildings undergoing refurbishment, very similar to the Code for Sustainable Homes which is applied to new build dwellings.

The primary aim of BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment is to improve the environmental performance of existing dwellings in a robust and cost-effective manner. This is achieved through integration and use of the scheme by the client and their project teams at key stages in the refurbishment process, and like the CfSH, covers various development criteria including Energy Efficiency, Water Consumption, Material Usage, Health and Wellbeing and Management.

As fully licensed assessors under the BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Scheme, we are able to measure, evaluate and reflect the performance of a refurbishment project against best practise in an independent and robust manner.
